I have not come across one good review for Mariah Carey's latest album, "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel". Damn, that title was dope too. Would've been crack if the music measured up to the title.
Anyways, looks like MC's 18th album entered the charts this week at #3 with 167,000 copies sold. Yes I know, those numbers are pretty good for this day and time, but not for a legend like Mariah. If Jay could bust out almost 500K his first week after the whole album leaked online, there's no reason why she couldn't do at least that.
Mariah has more die hard fans that 80% of the artists out now. Look at Cudi! Brand new artist on the scene and he even broke six figures his first week. So who's to blame here? DUH...the wack ass label.
Did you even know that her album dropped last week? I didn't know until the day of, and thats not entirely her label's fault. I didn't receive notification from her publicist until the day after it was released. Hmmm, can we say FIRED?
