Artist Spotlight - The Stephen Beasley Project
These guys are amazing. Check them out at http://reverbnation.com/thesbp
The sbP is made up of 3 amazingly talented and soulful guys from New England and me, Stephen Beasley, a former choir boy from Louisville Kentucky.
After jammin’ and creating with the guys for 2 years, I made a vow to myself for 2008. That vow was to perform at least twice a month, copyright our songs, and record a –mostly- live album (Ben is an amazing “beat- maker” so our song Noose has an added electronica-soul-hop version).
The Music of Transition is a letter that formally cancels my subscription to the unrealistic pursuit of perfection I once embarked upon, based on my previously perceived notion of fulfillment, success and happiness.
Our goal is to maintain our artistic integrity while gaining a worldwide following, booking festivals and other great venues and licensing our music throughout TV, Film and the Internet.
This summer in New York City you can see The sbP as part of the CLINTON CONCERT SERIES on August 24th on the 55th Street Pier in Manhattan!
