Oscar winner and former American Idol, Jennifer Hudson just landed a role in the new 'Sex and the City' movie.
According to MSN.com, Hudson will play Louise, assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie.
Michael Patrick King wrote the "Sex and the City: The Movie" screenplay and will begin directing the film next week in New York. Original stars Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon will return along with beloved co-star Chris Noth as Mr. Big.
As of right now, there is little known about the plot. What is known is that the story picks up four years later.
