My favorite are the aggressive comments here demanding that Apple unlock your phone because it is your property. Yeah, the phone is your property. But the network is not. It's AT&T's property. You pay for the service to use it.
If you don't like that, you can switch to a phone that is hackable, and violate the terms of your contract with AT&T. Or switch to another carrier. Or move to another country where there are different regulations regarding carriers. Or write your Representative or Senator. But don't whine that someone owes you something because of what you'd prefer.

Thank you for your help on this. Unfortunately, it was empty - and did not work. Might you have any other suggestions?

Apparently 4.3.1 is on the way for security reasons, which they're waiting for.
4.3 is not on the way. They speculated that because they thought 4.3 would be hacked at some conference but only 4.2.1 was so there is no need for a 4.3.1. They aren't waiting for anything. They are in the process and working out bugs. It is one thing to successfully JB, another to actually release it to the public problem free. When it is done it'll be released. Comex is working on it.

I have restored my iPod Touch 3rd Generation to 4.2.1 and I am currently trying to jailbreak it with RedSnow using the 4.2.1 Custom Firmware. I am able to point the program to the file on my desktop, and I put my iPod in to DFU Mode so the jailbreak can take place.
However when I am told to keep pressing home and the jailbreak starts, it stop's at "Please wait while your device is being processed: Exploiting with limera1n"
It loads what looks to be 60% and just stops, I even left it Exploiting for an hour and nothing.
Please give advice as to solve this.

Hang in there guys! It's worth it.
I called them twice today, they said they aren't getting any and already got their shipment for the day.
So that means people are standing in line for nothing?

I found this online yesterday after using many different apps to not get exactly what I was looking for, this. I'm posting this because I couldn't find it on MR but google had the answer. Maybe this will help someone in the future. :)
I used iFile to make the changes.
Here's a screenshot from my iPad...
http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/yy149/jacob-bibby/026442ba.png
So, using iFile, I am not totally sure what to delete here. The string I see is "RequiredCapabilities", not "RequiredCompatibilities" and I did not know if I should delete just that line or anything else. I would hate to stuff this up.
EdIt: OK, I went ahead and did the edits and it works great. A little more difficult/scary doing it in text, but using the search in iFile made it a bit easier. The tutorials are wrong and the key is called RequiredCapabilities (maybe they changed the name at some point). I deleted the stuff from <key> through the end of </array> for each entry.
Also, when I first started, I was not able to access the text editor in iFile. A respring fixed that.

Three years ago: iPhone revenue = 10 % of Apple's revenue
Two years ago: iPhone revenue = 26% of Apple's revenue
Now: iPhone revenue = half of Apple's revenue
I think it's clear where Apple is going with iOS.

One way to avoid this (The cause still being unknown, though) is to uncheck the box in iTunes that says "Sync Music Automatically", then just drag the playlists you want up to your iPhone in the sidebar.

Thanks for the review. You did point out that it does not cover the front camera, but it appears that it does cover the ambient light sensor. Can you please confirm?

Actually just read another post about 64-bit and 32-bit kernel and wondering if that is the root cause of my issue?
I will try the 32-bit when I get home later.
Incidentally, will I notice much difference between 64-bit and 32-bit?
Will update later :o)

It is possible to have the songs in two formats on iTunes, although I don't know how Sonos would deal with it.

Maybe if I threw in an extra $2 bill on top of that $50 then they might "find" one in the back. What do you think? Haha.
I'll do it for $100 and meet you halfway in Draper.

I don't know if you are aware of this.... Can't you wait until June/July for the release of Final Cut Pro X (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/13/final-cut-pro-x-demo-nowhere-near-final-version-more-on-final-cut-studio-apps-coming/)? looking at the video demo (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/13/video-of-final-cut-pro-x-introduction-now-available/), it seem's awsome...
Not sure what shortcomings will the X version will have compared to the current FCP Studio, since the price difference is huge.
cheers!

I think this is what the CDMA iPhone is for and less likely VZW...
I think it's more likely it's for both, it would make no sense for Apple to develop a CDMA iPhone and not give it to Verizon. looking at this list (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mobile_network_operators) from wikipedia Verizon appears to be the largest CDMA carrier in the world.

It would not be much of a loss if Microsoft decided to pull the plug. Don't think they haven't taught about it. A three percent market share or 19 million desktop users does not even come close to the numbers that still use Windows 2000, never mind Windows 98. I of course don't wish this to happen, but it is one logical outcome.
Maybe so, but there are millions of Mac being sold every year, and there will always be percentage of these users who are perfectly willing to buy Virtual PC, Mac Office, Windows XP, and eventually Windows Vista when it's released, to use on their Mac's. Remember, that's a lot of money, and would Microsoft really not want to have their share of the pie?

Everyone at Radial who I talk to is recommending the active one but there is also this passive one that I came across and was recommended by one guy at a local music store (although he seemed unsure and also said go active).
This is the passive unit: http://www.radialeng.com/re-proav1.htm
My Duet has active preamps I believe....so ya I was a tad confused as to why I would need an active DI for an electric guitar (w/ passive pickups). I'm new to shopping for a DI box could anyone explain the situations where you'd need active vs passive in a DI box? Someone told me the active one will give you a stronger signal but is this always the case?
The only way I could justify the more expensive active one is if it provides a better/quieter signal. Perhaps the J series is better electronics? ...or is it just sales rhetoric to get you to spend more dough?
