I am not sure why this latest installment of Street Fighter is being heralded as if it is the next Halo. The graphics are still the same with the exception of 3-D effects. The player is able to see more facial reactions from punches and kicks impacted on his opponent.

'A Shot at Love' is Getting a Spinoff

Everybody Hates Marcus is reporting that one of Tila's love goonies is getting his own MTGV reality show. The spinoff will feature Domenico Nesci called 'Amore.'

If you are not familiar with the name, he was the Italian guy who was born and raised in Milan.

In the show, Nesci will be looking for his American sweetheart from among 15 ladies who will vie for his heart and travel to Italy to meet his mother.

'Amore' is scheduled to air at 10 PM Sundays starting March 2.

The other night, I was in bed watching a movie- Fighting Hyena with a young Jackie Chan. As the credits were rolling, I stated to my husband how cool it would be to see Jackie Chan and Jet Li in a movie together. Fast forward to today, while I was searching for new trailers on Yahoo!, it looks like I will get to see them together in a movie - The Forbidden Kingdom.

Here is the synopsis from IMDB:

An American teenager who is obsessed with Hong Kong cinema and kung-fu classics makes an extraordinary discovery in a Chinatown pawnshop: the legendary stick weapon of the Chinese sage and warrior, the Monkey King. With the lost relic in hand, the teenager unexpectedly finds himself traveling back to ancient China to join a crew of warriors from martial arts lore on a dangerous quest to free the imprisoned Monkey King.

The plot is very corny, but I am a sucker for kungfu movies, especially if they have Jackie Chan or Jet Li in it.

The Forbidden Kingdom hits theaters April 18, 2008.

Pimp C did not die from foul play

SOHH is reporting that Pimp C did not die from foul play.

According to KBTV Channel 4 in Port Arthur, Pimp C's hometown, the Los Angeles coroner's office has officially ruled out foul play and said there were no signs of trauma.

Investigators are also at least two weeks away from determining the rapper's cause of death.

Ricky Romance Drops a Radio Bombshell

Rain from WPGC 95.5 in Washington D.C. had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Raz B's older brother, Ricky Romance (real name Ricardo Thornton). In it he is claiming the allegations are true that Raz B is now denying. He even drops a bombshell in the interview.

I don't know if Chris Stokes really did the things that Ricky and Raz are claiming, but I will say that I have always thought that something was not quite right about Stokes.

Brandy will not be facing any vehicular manslaughter charges! Since the statue of limitations deadline is today, the L.A. City Attorney decided not to file any charges. The accident happened a year ago when Brandy's car hit the car in front of her. The woman, Awatef Aboudihaj , died. TMZ reported that Ms. Aboudihaj hit another car which resulted in her death.

Is Top Model a Scam? Reflecting on the New year

Is Top Model a Scam?
That’s what everyone has been asking me lately because of the last season. I didn’t watch it, but I came across the finale and watched it the other week. I guess the winner of the show not only has modeled before (Wendy’s commercials, Tyra Banks Show runway model) but that she also had a personal relationship with Tyra from being in her T-zone camp. According to my contract with Top Model, all of these things would keep you from even coming on the show, let alone win it.

I agree with the majority in saying that this is not fair. When I did watch the show, I didn’t think that they chose the girl who could actually model…but then I remembered that they are 9 seasons into this show and have yet to be successful in making a real “Top Model”. I would have picked the other girl based only on that I think she would work more. It’s Tyra’s show, and she can obviously do whatever she wants.

I love to compete. If I had been one of the other contestants, I would be crying foul everywhere I went. I am really surprised at how unfair that season seems. So I guess now real models are going to be allowed on the show? That should make things interesting.

I think that if all these rumors of the winner being tied in the industry and having a prior relationship with Tyra is true, that the title should be given to the runner up. I know Tyra is an honest person. I have been assured by many that Tyra isn’t unfair. Seeing how she isn’t, I know she will do the right thing in this situation. Heck, maybe after she is done righting this wrong, she could hint at the agency she placed me in to PAY me for the work I did and won through her show? Been trying to get that check since 2003. ; )”

Brown's Divorce Attorney seeks to sever professional ties

Another sttorney for Bobby Brown is claiming the 'Don't Be Cruel' singer has a heart attack in October- despite Brown's claim that it was just a 'medical scare.'

In court papers filed (obtained by CelebTv.com), Brown's attorney, Stacy D. Phillips, is seeking to withdraw as Brown's divorce attorney.

Phillips filed a motion in Orange County Superior Court on Dec. 11, requesting "to be relieved as attorney of record in this action or proceeding."

According to court papers, Phillips believed Brown was not available for an Oct. 22 hearing due to poor health: "On October 10, 2007, on behalf of Respondent [Brown], his counsel represented that it was his understanding that Respondent suffered a mild heart attack."

Life & Style Magazine is reporting since Jamie Lynn's shocking pregnancy announcement, her relationship with Casey Aldridge is on the rocks.

“They’re not dating now. He's really got nothing to offer this baby. He's a kid himself. They have no plans to get married."

It sounds to me like he wanted to dip, but not face the music of his actions. Sounds like Casey is in for a Louisiana shotgun wedding.

DMX Signs to New Label

DMX is in the studio coooking up an new album,Walk With Me Now and You'll Fly With Me Later, which will be his first for Bodog Music. Bodog Music is also home to Wu-Tang and Warren G.

"I'm thankful for the fact that Bodog believes in me, that we share the same vision and the fact that they see in me the same thing I see," DMX said via statement. "I'll show you [Bodog Music] how it's supposed to be done, and we'll get to where we're supposed to be. You got a dog for life."

Statutory Rape Charge for Casey Aldridge??

I don't think there should be any question if Casey Aldridge should be charged with statutory rape. Sorry, I don't care if they've been together for three years. I don't care if she has money. Casey knew she was underage from jumpstreet.

Post Chronicle's Tittle-Tattle Too section hypothesized Aldridge's fate:

"It is possible for Casey Aldridge to get in trouble with the law for doing it with sixteen year old girlfriend Jamie Lynn Spears. He may be looking at up to 6 months in prison for misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile. However, since he has been her boyfriend for over three years, it's also highly unlikely."

WTF? Highly unlikely?? Genarlow Wilson didn't stand a chance. Show Casey Aldridge the same courtesy.

I tell you what if he does not have his narrow behind in jail by Thursday morning 10AM CST, I am going to start an online petition to get him there.

R.Kelly busted in Utah!

In an earlier post, I mentioned that a bench warrrant was requested for R.Kelly. The clever detectives that make up TMZ has found out why he was a no-show: he was sitting on the side of the road busted by Utah police!!

Police sources in Utah tell TMZ that Kelly's four tour buses were stopped yesterday, after they were spotted going over 100 mph. After the buses were pulled over, the investigating trooper noticed that the bus drivers seemed "tired." John Q. Law then asked for the buses' log books (with drivers' rest and drive info) but they weren't on board or weren't updated -- a big no-no in Utah.

So the po-po ordered the buses out of service and the passengers were left to find their own transporation.

As of right now his bench warrant will be enforced if he is a no-show tomorrow!

Tyra is a Cheap Boss

Well if you think your boss is Mr. Scrooge himself, think again, by the end of this post you will be glad to have him/her.

As you all know Tyra Banks just moved her show and staff from L.A. to New York and scored a $30 million contract along the way (she is being groomed to be the new 'Oprah' whenever Oprah steps down). Instead of giving out bonuses to her staff, she decides to throw a party in lower Manhattan at some bar. I know, I know you are thinking "what is wrong with a company Christmas party??" Here is the problem, she comes in (all glamorous of course), tells her staff she is leaving for Italy and that she has a special guest...Santa with a sack fill of special gifts.

The special gifts are McDonald's cheeseburgers. Her staff thinks this is a joke, so they opened the wrapping, hoping there is something more to this "gift". Nope, this is it, just some old dusty cheeseburgers from McDonalds. So the staff in disgust gets totally wasted.

So when you are thinking about how awful your boss is, think of this story.

“Lynne Spears’s book about raising her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn has been put on hold, the publisher confirms to PEOPLE. “The book is delayed indefinitely. It’s delayed, not cancelled,” says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles.

“It had been scheduled for a spring 2008 release and was put on hold last week, says the rep. Jamie Lynn Spears Pregnant

Another Spears baby is reportedly on the way — and it's not Britney's.

Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old "Zoey 101" star and sister of Britney, tells OK! magazine that she's pregnant and that the father is her longtime boyfriend, Casey Aldridge.

"It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she says. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."

Spears is 12 weeks along and initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine, which hits stands in New York on Wednesday and the rest of the country by Friday.

"As soon as I found out for sure from the doctor, I took two weeks to myself where I didn't tell anybody," she says. "Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me."

Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine says.

"She was very upset because it wasn't what she expected at all," Spears says. "A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive."

Lynne Spears, already grandmother to Britney's young sons, says: "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious.

She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

She says her actress daughter, the telegenic heroine of the popular Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101," has known Aldridge for years and began dating him in high school.

Jamie Lynn plans to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana — "so it can have a normal family life."

The third season of "Zoey 101" wraps up Jan. 4.

"I haven't spoken to (Nickelodeon) personally, but they have always been so great to me over the past years and have given me so many opportunities."

What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex?

"I definitely don't think it's something you should do; it's better to wait," she says. "But I can't be judgmental because it's a position I put myself in."

Chris Rock Sets Tour Dates

from Variety.com:

Chris Rock will tour the U.S. early February through mid-May, adding dates to his already scheduled January tour of England.

Rock closes 2007 with gigs in Phoenix; Indianapolis; and Albany, N.Y., plus a New Year's Eve show at Madison Square Garden, before heading to Manchester, England, for a Jan. 7 perf, his first in the U.K.

Rock is booked for 47 performances of his "No Apologies" standup show in 26 cities. Tour starts Feb. 8 in Cleveland and ends May 17 in Atlantic City, N.J. He will perform five shows at the Gibson Amphitheater in L.A. from April 23-27 and four shows April 30-May 3 at Madison Square Garden.

Geffen Records will release compilation "Cheese and Crackers: The Greatest Bits" on Dec. 18.

Dates are being added for Australia and South Africa.

Karrine signs to Eddie Murphy's Record Label

Actor Eddie Murphy has reportedly launched a record label, Murphy Entertainment, and has signed his first artist...Karrine "Superhead" Steffans.

Baller Status via Asian News International reports that Karrine is the first on his label's roster with her album coming out March 2008. It is unclear if she will be singing or rapping.

Wendy Williams is reporting that Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds are planning to take their relationship to another level. The couple plans to wed December 28. Sources told Wendy that Eddie wants to close 2007 with some happiness.
