Prior to the IPL procedure, it's best to stop shaving a few days before and to avoid alcohol 24 hrs before too.
The procedure was simple and fast. The staff were really friendly and helpful in explaining each step and they didn't hard sell at all.
I have read IPL reviews that mentioned the pain can be compared to ant bites or rubber bands snapping. It was described as "bearable" but I'll say it's almost painless! For a pain-phobic like myself, I'll rate it 1 on the scale of 10! 5-6 zaps each side and it was over. Cooling gel will be applied before the treatment and cooling pads will be given after that too.
The treatment rooms are clean, neat and comforting. Customers will even be given a Musee blue tank top to wear for treatment.
I felt like I got a good deal even after parting with $188 this morning. I was given a mirror as a welcome gift and by quoting another customer's member no., I even got another upper lip treatment for free.
